Rules of Procedure for Planned Unit Developments (PUD)

A committee of the Planning Board has developed rules of procedure (PDF) to establish a reasonable and consistent process for the Planning Board to hear, consider, and act upon Planned Unit Developments. The Planning Board may adopt rules and regulations for the conduct of its proceedings in accordance with the process of Article 3, Title 7 of the Baltimore County Code. These rules of procedure have been reviewed and approved by the Office of Law for legal sufficiency.

The rules of procedure specifically address the Planning Board’s conduct of meetings, public hearings and review of a PUD concept plan or any amendment to the PUD concept plan. They are not intended to change or modify the Baltimore County Zoning Regulations or the Baltimore County Code requirements for a PUD.
