Development Processing coordinates county agencies' review of the following:
- proposed residential subdivisions
- proposed commercial development
- posting of security required for development processing
- street names and numbering
- processing of "minor" subdivisions
- land that has been subdivided into three or fewer lots for residential single-family dwellings
Project Managers support processing all phases of the Development Review process including:
- Community Input Meetings (distributing comments and minutes)
- Pre-Concept Plan, Concept Plan, and Development Plan Conferences
- Hearing Officer Hearings
- preparation of Public Works utility form, road agreements, record plats and private contracts (Forms / Applications)
- "closeout" of residential and commercial developments (Forms)
- amendments to approved plans and limited exemptions Development Review Committee
- Development Review Committee (DRC) actions
Waivers of Development Plan Requirements and Hearing Officer's Hearings - The Director of Permits and Development Management may waive development plan requirements and Hearing Officer's Hearings under certain conditions. (Baltimore County Code, Section 32-4-107(b))
