    The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law created to provide individuals with disabilities the right to equal opportunity. This act calls for businesses to make their facilities, goods,and services accessible to all people with disabilities. It prohibits discrimination based upon a disability in employment, government, transportation, public accommodations, commercial facilities,and telecommunications.
