Legislation Amending the Baltimore County Charter

Bill 52-07 Charter Section 202 - Qualifications of Councilmembers (PDF) Effective Date: December 6, 2010

Bill 52-07 removes a prohibition on serving as a member of the County Council while holding employment with the State.

Amending: § 202(b), Baltimore County Charter

(This Charter amendment will be submitted for enactment by the voters of Baltimore County at the general election on November 4, 2008.)

Bill 7-08 Animal Control (PDF) Effective Date: March 30, 2008

Bill 7-08 alters a requirement for obtaining a permit to keep a wild animal.

Amending: §§ 12-1-101, 12-2-201, and 12-7-101, Baltimore County Code, 2003

(This bill also adds a section to the Baltimore County Zoning Regulations.)

Bill 8-08 Design Review Panel (PDF) Effective Date: May 5, 2008

Bill 8-08 exempts certain noncommercial buildings from review by the Design Review Panel.

Amending: § 32-4-204, Baltimore County Code, 2003

Bill 9-08 Recreational Space (PDF) Effective Date: March 31, 2008

Bill 9-08 establishes a reduced fee to be paid to the local open space revenue account for certain planned unit developments.

Legislation Enacted to the Baltimore County Zoning Regulations

Bill 6-08 Zoning Regulations - Museums (PDF) Effective Date: April 20, 2008

Bill 6-08 allows museums in the RC zones as a matter of right.

Adding: § 101 (definition of "museum") and § 402D, Baltimore County Zoning Regulations
