Employment Background Investigation Information for Applicants
If you are not currently employed by Baltimore County and have received a conditional offer of employment, you are required to have a pre-employment physical and drug screening, be fingerprinted and undergo an employment background investigation before your first day of employment. The fingerprint process is required regardless of whether you have been previously fingerprinted for another job, childcare or any other reason.

Within two weeks of receiving your conditional offer of employment, you must review and complete the Employment Background Investigation forms packet (PDF) and Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 (PDF), and schedule your fingerprint appointment. An Employment Background Investigation forms packet may also be obtained from the Baltimore County Government's Office of Human Resources.
