The Distinguished Advocates Client Advisory Board

We are a group of organized volunteeers who are dedicated to educating the larger Baltimore County community on HIV prevention and related issues.

Mission

Our mission is to advocate on behalf of the HIV+/AIDS-infected Baltimore County residents who utilize the Baltimore County Bureau of Medical Social Work for a comprehensive array of high quality, culturally-sensitive, supportive social services that will promote “wellness” and assure client accessibility to informational/educational materials and resources that will prevent disease and disability.

Founding Value

Our founding value is to ensure that every HIV+/AIDS-infected client is given quality care and service that is tempered with commensurate levels of respect and compassion.

Meetings

Second Thursday of each month at noon at the Baltimore County Department of Health, Drumcastle Government Center, 3rd floor, 6401 York Rd, Towson, Maryland 21212.

Should you wish to add any substantive matter to our prepared agenda, you are invited to contact Ms. Tricia Poole at 410-887-3707.
