Happy Tails

My owners call me, Buddy and that’s just fine with me. I’ve been with them a little more than a month and boy, do I love to snuggle! The two other dogs in my new home are older, but I’ve bonded with them and have gotten one of them to play for the first time in years! I love toys, the yard and of course, gnawing on bones. My owners say I’m a loving boy and they want to thank Baltimore County Animal Services for helping make me a part of their home.

Adopt a Pet

Adopting a pet will enrich your life. Pets chase away the blues, help children develop higher self-esteem and nurturing skills, and they offer unconditional affection. Consider adding an unFURgettable friend to your family by adopting a cat or dog today.

To adopt a pet you must present a photo identification card and be at least 18 years old. A background check will be conducted on prospective adopters to ensure that pets are going to responsible homes. A $20 deposit (only cash and check payment accepted) for the pet of your choice is also required. The adoption fee is $65 for dogs and $50 for cats. The fee includes:

  • A spayed or neutered pet (dog, puppy, cat or kitten)
  • A veterinary exam
  • Health certificate
  • First set of vaccinations
  • Micro-chipping with lifetime registration
  • Annual Baltimore County dog or cat license (required)
