Please be advised of the following requirements:

  • In 2004, Baltimore County Food Regulations were updated to include requirements for the certification of food service managers.

  • After October 1, 2005, food establishments were required to have at least one employee that has been enrolled in an approved certified food service manager program or who has received a certified food manager identification card issued by the County.

  • After April 1, 2007, food establishments must operate under the direct supervision of a certified food manager whenever food is received, prepared and/or served.
