Focus On The First Years

We are pleased to provide you with resources and other useful information to help our youngest population grow healthy and strong.

Health Clinics

Clinic Locations - Get the street address and driving directions to our facilities.

Illness
  • Colds are caused by viruses, which may go away by them selves. Many parent's are surprised to find out how many colds their child can catch each year!
  • Ear Infections next to a cold, an ear infection is the most common childhood illness.
  • Sore Throats can be caused by an infection or due to a virus or bacteria.
Prevention
  • Public Health Dentistry - Clinical Services and Dental Referral Programs.
  • Immunizations (also called shots or vaccines) help protect your children. Receiving the necessary immunizations is very important.
  • Baltimore County - Prescription Discount Card can help you and your family save money on medicines   prescribed by your doctor/pediatrician if you don't have insurance or if your plan doesn't cover a certain medication.
  • Antibiotics - "Use Them Wisely". Talk to your doctor about when antibiotics will work. 
Safety

Testing Services

  • Developmental Disabilities for children who may require case management, referral and advocacy resources.
  • Hearing & Vision Services provide comprehensive hearing and vision testing services.
  • Speech and Language Services provide individualized speech and language treatment if you notice that your child is having difficulties.
Other
  • Head lice are parasites - very small bugs and most commonly found on young, school age children.
