We offer tuberculosis (TB) skin testing for those persons being evaluated for active tuberculosis and their contacts. Registered nurses provide counseling, medication, monitoring, Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) services and educational materials free of charge. The Tuberculosis Program provides consultation to private providers caring for patients with tuberculosis. Private providers are given information, consultation, resources for referrals and assistance in meeting state and federal standards for treatment of TB cases.
