Rapid HIV Antibody Testing During Labor and Delivery for Women of Unknown HIV Status; A Prectical Guide and Model Protocol CDC (January 2004) - In an effort to promote increased testing rates, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published a model protocol for incorporating HIV testing into routine prenatal screening, implementing rapid HIV testing at Labor and Delivery, and testing of neonates whose mothers' HIV status is unknown.
