The Cancer Prevention Program of the Baltimore County Department of Health is initiating contracts with medical providers in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The contracts are to provide cancer screening, diagnosis, and/or treatment for targeted cancers (colon, oral, breast, cervical, prostate, lung, and skin).
Reimbursement for services is at the Medicare rate for screening and Medicaid rate for diagnosis and treatment. All care is provided through contracts with private practices in the area.
