Maryland licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists provide a comprehensive evaluation of speech and language skills and recommendations for remediation of identified problems.
If recommended, individualized speech and language treatment is available and the focus is on early intervention and training with the family to optimize communication skills. Staff Speech-Language Pathologists collaborate with the Baltimore County Public Schools, Headstart Programs, Evenstart, the Baltimore County Department of Aging and community residential programs for adult developmental delayed citizens for coordination of services.
Services are provided to Baltimore County residents, from newborns through senior citizens on a sliding fee schedule according to income, at two locations in Baltimore County. Referrals are accepted from any source.
Citizens who have limited financial resources and cannot financially access services in the private sector are welcome. For children 0-3 years enrolled in the Baltimore County Infants and Toddlers Program, the services are at no cost to the family.
