State law requires that free periodic screening of all public and non-public school children be performed for the presence of hearing or vision problems.
All Baltimore County students in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, third, fifth, and eighth grades; students new to Baltimore County, and special education. Public and non-public elementary and middle schools are screened.
Staffing includes experienced hearing and vision technicians.
