Signs of Hearing Loss
Have your hearing tested if
you think other people mumble or speak too softly
you have trouble following conversation in a noisy room

Signs of Speech and Language Problems
Call for testing if
- you feel your voice is too high, loud, harsh or hoarse
- you repeat, hesitate or prolong sounds and/or words when you speak
You or a loved one can get help after a stroke or head injury.

- slurred speech
- trouble understanding what is being said
- memory difficulties
- trouble expressing wants and needs
- trouble organizing thoughts

2 years to 3 years | * Follows simple directions such as "Get your shoe." * Points to pictures in a book when you say the name. | * Uses 2 word sentences like "more juice," "want ball." * Answers simple questions like "What do you do when you're hungry?" * Uses plurals like "2 books," "dogs." |
