The Bureau of Child, Adolescent and Reproductive Health is committed in promoting physical, emotional and social-well-being, by preventing illnesses and unnecessary deaths for the families, especially the women and children of Baltimore County, who may lack access to health care.
Childhood illnesses and conditions can be a tremendous source of stress for parents. Often, much of this stress is related to the parents' lack of understanding about their child's illness, and the worry that their child's health is no longer within their control.
