Station 57 serves Sparrows Point and the surrounding communitie s in Baltimore County, Maryland. Station 57 was placed in service, with Engine 57 and Medic 57, on August 31, 1987. Other significant dates: - March 19, 1988 -- A new E-One boom engine was placed in service as E57 at 2:20 p.m.
- March 30, 1988 - Engine 57 was authorized to respond to calls off Sparrows Point property.
- July 1, 1988 - Truck 57 placed in service.
- August 1, 1988 - Silent watch was instituted at Station 57, 2 p.m.
- August 8, 1988 - Truck 57 was authorized to respond off Sparrows Point property.

- March 5, 1990 - Engine 57, Truck 57 and Medic 57 respond to a two-alarm apartment fire at 2005 Paulette Rd. Units later receive a unit citation for rescues made during this incident.
- March 21, 1990 - The ship, "Federal Rhine," is brought, on fire, to a pier at 6:39 p.m. E57 would remain on the scene until March 24, 6:30 p.m.
- July 1, 1999 - Engine 57 and Truck 57 are placed out of service.
- July 29, 1999 - Medic 57 is placed out of service. Paramedic Engine 57 is placed in service.
- December 17, 2001 - Crews move to new Station 57 at 1545 Sparrows Point Blvd.
- September 19, 2003 - Hurricane Isabel results in numerous calls over the next several days.
