Station 19 - Garrison

The Garrison station serves Garrison and the surrounding comStation 19's patchmunities in Baltimore County.

Station 19 opened on September 3, 1974; a dedication took place November 27, 1974. It was named after Fort Garrison, located off Stevenson Road in Pikesville.  

On Garrison Station #19Oct. 29, 1974, Firefighter Douglas Green collapsed at the station and passed away in the line of duty.  FADO Robert Stocksdale passed away on February 22, 1988.

The first Engine 19 was a 1974 Mack CF 600. The second engine was a 1992 Grumman,.  Currently, Engine 19 is a 2005 American la France Eagle; it was placed in service on December 22, 2005.

Medic 19, a 1988 Ford E350 Swab Ambo, was placed in service January 1, 1995.  The current medic unit, a 2000 International N4700LP/Horton 603, is due to be replaced in 2007.
