Station 12 serves Middle River and the surrounding communities in Baltimore County, Maryland.The Station 12 patch.

History

Major incidents involving Station 12 personnel include the Amtrak train wreck on Jan. 4, 1987, and the Stealth bomber crash on Sept. 14, 1997.

In  recent years, the World War II-era neighborhood that has surrounded the station since it was built was razed and replaced with single family dwellings, townhouses and senior housing.
