Address Display Law

The Baltimore County Fire Prevention Code (Chapter 10) sets standards for address numbers and letters for both residential and commercial properties.

The code requires address numbers to be at least six inches for commercial properties and three inches for residential properties. Existing address numbers may be allowed to continue in use, subject to approval of the local Fire Marshal.
