EMS to Firefighter Bridge Program

The EMS to Firefighter Bridge program allows EMS personnel to be cleared to ride suppression equipment. View the program page page for further information on the application process.

Fire Apparatus Driver Operator

Fire Apparatus Driver Operators (FADO) are career personnel sanctioned to drive suppression equipment for the Baltimore County Fire Department. Procedures to become a FADO can be found on the FADO Turn-in page. View the FADO Turn In Procedure.

Burn Technician

Burn Technicians support the Fire Rescue Academy staff with live fire burn scenarios. These scenarios predominantly occur at the Fire Academy facility, but may also include acquired structures.
