IV Tech Refresher Training

All Fire Department IV techs must complete the IV technician refresher course concurrently with EMT-B recertification. The training and post-training test should take about 30 minutes to complete.

Downloading Instructions

The IV Technician refresher course is presented as a PowerPoint presentation. The file is over 30MB and will take several minutes to download, depending on your connection to the Internet.

To download the course:

• Right click on the link above and select "Save Target As".
• Save the file to your desktop and wait for the file to download.
• Once the file has downloaded, navigate to your desktop and open the file.
• The presentation will begin automatically.

Take/Submit the Quiz

Once you've viewed the training, download and complete the quiz (PDF). Send the quiz via inter-office mail (MS 1102F) to the IV Tech Program at Fire Rescue Academy.
