Advanced Life Support Refresher Training Programs Fall

The Fire Rescue Academy will be hosting the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute Paramedic Refresher Course which is required in order to meet the minimum requirements of knowledge and skills outlined in the National EMS Scope of Practice Model.

This course is delivered in a hybrid format. Part I is presented in a traditional face-to-face format over four days. Part II is presented through the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute online classroom. Both Part I and Part II must be completed in order to complete the Paramedic Refresher Course and meet the requirements of Section I-A. As in years past, every provider must also complete 24 additional hours of Section II training and an approved Advanced Cardiac Life Support course. (Note: ACLS not required for I-99/CRT-I).

Advanced Life Support Continuing Education Schedule

Registration must be completed on the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute (MFRI) website. When registering for a class you are agreeing to attend all sessions for that class. If you need to miss a session, it will be your responsibility to make arrangements with MFRI for a make-up session.
