- All classes, except Sundays, will be held at Loyola Graduate Center, Timonium Campus (2034 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, Md, 21093) and will run from 0800-1630 hrs. All Sunday classes will be held at the Baltimore County Public Safety Building, Hampton Room (700 E. Joppa Road, Towson, MD 21286). Rosters will be signed both at the beginning of class and at the end of the day. It should be noted that all classes are scheduled to run until 1630 hrs. If you have a work conflict and leave prior to the end of the class, you will not be credited for that day's attendance.
- Pre-registration must be completed online via electronic Form 4. When registering, be sure you are selecting the correct date. Applicants are required to apply for classes through their company officer or training officer. Volunteer company/training officers must use their company training email address (not personal addresses).
- Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 25 students per session. Pre-registration is required. This is a MFRI guideline; any variations are up to the MFRI staff, not the staff of the Baltimore County Fire Rescue Academy.
- Contact Lt. Richard Schenning, EMS Programs, at 410-887-7523, or via email at rschenning@baltimorecountymd.gov for further information.
For additional opportunities for ALS Continuing Education, see MFRI's web site at http://www.MFRI.org. The Advanced Life Support Refresher (EMS-312) is the same 32-hour class throughout the state. If you elect to take classes outside of Baltimore County's Fire Rescue Academy, you are responsible to register with that jurisdiction. Revised September 2, 2009 |
