Baltimore County’s Office of Communications strives to facilitate communication with county citizens, civic groups, businesses, partner agencies, and county employees. The office serves as a resource to Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith and county agencies in communicating with the public regarding county services, programs, initiatives and issues of interest to the community.
The office coordinates media relations, issues press releases, conducts press conferences, prepares Executive Citations and Proclamations, hosts special events, produces informative publications and video programs, and develops web site content to highlight newsworthy and relevant topics.
Hello Baltimore County is the county government's monthly cable TV program. It is carried several times a week on Baltimore County TV, which is on Comcast Channel 25 in Baltimore County. The program features county officials and others discussing timely topics of interest to county citizens.
