National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Resources

Baltimore County, a Phase One jurisdiction, defined by a population greater than 100,000 and 11 industrial categories, is required to obtain five-year permits for stormwater discharge. Pertinent Federal, State and local resources include:

NPDES - MS4 and TMDL

General Discharge Permit

Maryland Department of the Environment reissued the General Permit for Storm Water Discharges from Industrial Activities; General Permit Number 12-SW, effective January 1, 2014.
