Environmental Impact Review
Forest and Water Resources, Chesapeake Bay Critical Area
Environmental Impact Review implements the environmental regulatory programs associated with the building process and land development, including timber harvests. Environmental Impact Review (EIR) is responsible for the management and protection of streams, wetlands, forests and the areas of the County that are within the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area (CBCA). The section also provides environmental education and guidance to County residents.
