Purchasing the new Treasure the Chesapeake license plate has just gotten easier! Thanks to the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) and its e-MVA services, you can purchase the bold and colorful new Bay plate on-line.
Simply visit the MVA web site and select the Background Scene Plates, then select Chesapeake Bay Plate. Follow the instructions from that point.
Chesapeake Bay license plates are the key source of revenue for the Chesapeake Bay Trust, a private, non-profit, grantmaking organization established by the Maryland Legislature in 1985.
The Trust awards grants to schools, non-profit organizations, and public agencies for a variety of important initiatives, ranging from schoolyard habitat projects, to marsh and bay grass plantings, and oyster bed and shoreline restoration.
