Emergency Notification System
The Baltimore County’s Emergency Notification System (ENS) is a notification tool designed to enhance emergency preparedness and notify citizens and businesses in Baltimore County of emergency situations that may require time sensitive actions.
The system has the ability to send a recorded message and /or e-mail to Baltimore County homes and businesses, providing pertinent safety information or instructions. Since the system went online in 2007, ENS has been used in Baltimore County for severe weather events, incidents involving hazardous materials, utility outage notifications and more.
If you use traditional Verizon phone service only, not including cell service, and do not wish to receive e-mail notification, no action is required.
Who Should Register
- If you want e-mail alerts, you should register.
