The Hunt Valley corridor is home to a business community surrounded by some of the east coast's most picturesque countryside. The I-83 Corridor, which includes Timonium, Loveton, and Sparks, pulls from a pool of more than 537,000 workers within 10 miles, reaching from Baltimore City to southern Pennsylvania. Interstate highway and light rail provide direct connections to the corridor's corporate campuses, operations centers and specialized manufacturers.

BD Diagnostic Systems, with more than 1,700 workers, is Maryland’s largest private sector bioscience employer. Cover Girl cosmetics are manufactured at Procter & Gamble's Cosmetics & Fragrance Division in Cockeysville. 

Creativity and technology come together with one of the largest concentrations of computer game development companies in the country.

Town Centre Ambiance, Country Living

The $35 million Hunt Valley Town Centre opens spring 2005, featuring shops and restaurants along a pedestrian-friendly Main Street. The region's first Wegmans gourmet grocery anchors the center.

Elegant executive housing and comfortable neighborhoods flank the rolling valleys that give the corridor its name.  International steeplechase racing, public and private golf courses, and farmland grace the area surrounding the Hunt Valley business community.

Hunt Valley 

The towers of Executive Plaza, MBNA's Mid-Atlantic headquarters, and hillside offices on International Circle surround Shawan Road in Hunt Valley.  Businesses enjoy amenities such as the new Hunt Valley Town Centre and cinemas, Marriott Hunt Valley Inn and Embassy Suites, extended stay hotels and conference center facilities. The Constellation Energy Classic PGA tournament is played annually at nearby Hayfields Country Club.

Loveton and Sparks

Loveton and Sparks feature corporate campuses overlooking the valleys, farms and protected woods of northern Baltimore County.  McCormick & Company, PHH Corporation, and TransHealthCare corporate headquarters join FILA USA, BD Diagnostic Systems medical manufacturing, and regional UPS operations.  

Timonium-Cockeysville

Flex and manufacturing facilities dominate business parks flanking Interstate 83 and York Road. The Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium offer year-round activities, festivals and consumer shows.

Easy Light Rail Connections

Light rail service to Baltimore City, Amtrak and BWI Airport stops along major corridor business parks. MTA bus service connects from the light rail station to major employers and points north.  Light rail currently being upgraded and is under construction until 2006.
