Announced it is moving to Baltimore County. The technology firm will occupy 17,000 square feet of office space at Baltimore Crossroads @95. The company, which develops software to track the effectiveness of nonprofit programs, plans to double its 85-person work force over the next 18 months.

Trade Credit Insurance, Inc., one of the world's largest credit insurers, is moving its U.S. headquarters from White Marsh to Schilling Green in Hunt Valley.
United Distributing Company
A wholesaler of durable goods, is moving its corporate headquarters to Main Street in downtown Reistertown. The firm brings 25 new jobs to the County.
KCI Technologies
An engineering, transportation, telecommunication, and environmental services firm, has moved its corporate headquarters to a new green building in the Highlands Office Park in Sparks.
Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Technology
Opened their sixth facility in Woodlawn, adding 160 new jobs. The expansion was an addition of 42,000 square feet bringing their total County employment to 1,500.
ADP Inc.,
The human resources and payroll company, has purchased their existing office property at 11411 Red Run Boulevard in Owings Mills. The purchase price for the 111,137 Class A office was $14,800,000. ADP employs 300 at this Chesapeake Regional Service Center.

Pearl Life Science Partners is developing a platform that uses modified viral particle vaccine technology to increase the efficacy of vaccines. Quantum Medical Metrics is developing an advanced dual energy x-ray imaging system that can measure bone strength using three-dimensional engineering analysis. Amidusis, a consultancy offering marketing and technology services, is focusing on creating personalized experiences at conferences and business events. Premier Management Corporation provides cyber crime and network security, services for NSA and other government agencies.

A Chicago-based carpet, hardwood and laminate flooring company, will expand its operations to an 8,000 square-foot office in Rosedale. The company could hire up to 45 people in sales, installation and administrative jobs.

Insurance company Zurich American is moving its Baltimore area operations to Red Brook Corporate Center, 600 Red Brook Drive in Owings Mills.

Has been approved for a $60,000 Baltimore County Business Improvement loan for exterior and interior improvements to the property in the Catonsville Commerical Revitalization District. Once Improvements are completed a new deli/bakery will open in the renovated space.

Woodlawn concrete surface repair and structural strengthening firm is rebuilding their main warehouse on Whitestone Road. The new warehouse will be 56,000 square feet. The company employs 300 workers.
Choice Technologies Hunt Valley Expansion
IT company focused on integrated design, implementation and support of networks for their clients has leased 5,462 square feet at 215 Schilling Circle. The company employs 26 and anticipates continued growth over the next two years.

A provider of video relay services (VRS) for deaf and hard of hearing people, has opened a call center in Baltimore County near St. Joseph, GBMC, and Sheppard Pratt medical centers and Towson University. Viable will also launch a community interpreting service for Baltimore County entities such as medical offices and classrooms where on-site communication facilitation with sign language users may be needed. The new Towson call center will employ up to 20 interpreters.

Has leased 9,000 square feet at 235 Schilling Circle in Hunt Valley. CTI was recently recognized as one of the largest computer resellers and network integrators in Maryland, DC and Southern Pennsylvania. CTI employs 45 and anticipates additional growth.

Baltimore County has approved a $60,000 Building Investment Loan for interior and exterior improvements to the florist shop at 4109 Annapolis Road.
Jiranek Company
Approved $60,000 Building Investment Loan for Jiranek Company, P.A. to make improvements to a newly acquired office building on 16 Willow Avenue in Towson.
Procare Auto
Baltimore County has approved a $60,000 Building Investment Loan for improvements to the property in the Reisterstown Commercial Revitalization District. Improvements include a new façade, parking lot improvements and new signage.
Willis HRH Insurance
Two of the world's largest insurance and risk management intermediaries have completed their merger to form Willis HRH. More than 100 Willis HRH employees work from offices on International Circle in Hunt Valley.

Has signed a renewal lease for 508,000 square feet of warehouse space at 8416 Kelso Drive in the Marshfield Business Park. The firm will continue to occupy the entire building.
Bill Me Later
The next generation payment company has opened a new 26,000 square foot customer service center at 101 Schilling Road in Hunt Valley. The company, which is headquartered in Timonium, currently employs 300 in the Baltimore are and is hiring an additional 120 new employees in customer service, information technology and operations.
Architect On Call Upgrade in Lansdowne, Loch Raven, Pikesville
Architect on Call Services, free professional architectural assistance for businesses in Baltimore County's Commercial Revitalization Districts, have been completed upgrades to the Lansdowne Inn Restaurant on Hammonds Ferry Road, Johnson Funeral Home on Loch Raven Boulevard, Caves Travel in Pikesville, and the retail strip center located at 303-305 Reisterstown Road in downtown Pikesville, and House of Arnold Florist in Landsdowne. Has purchased a 14,000 square foot building on Greenspring Drive in Timonium, with the help of a $250,000 Baltimore County Business Growth loan. The company has 30 employees and estimates that 40 new jobs will be created over the next three years.
PSA Financial
An insurance and wealth management firm, has moved to expanded offices at 11311 McCormick Road in Hunt Valley. The company employs 180 in the 42,000 square foot facility and anticipates adding 25 new employees.
Service Express Inc.,
A distribution and freight company is moving to 100,258 square feet in the Hollins End Corporate Park. The Halethorpe business park is in Baltimore County's Southwest Enterprise Zone.
Flextronics
Flextronics International USA, an electronic manufacturing services provider, has signed a 11,032 square foot lease with St. john Properties, Inc. at Baltimore Crossroads @95. The firm will operate its retail services and regional training facilities from the Eastern Baltimore County business park.
Danfoss
Danfoss, a U.S. division of the Danfoss Group, is relocating to Baltimore Crossroads@95 in eastern Baltimore County. The company will transfer more than 230 employees to the new 46,200 square foot building, built to meet U.S. Green Building Council LEED Commercial Interior certification standards.
RMF Engineering
Mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and agricultural engineering firm is moving its headquarters with 100 employees to bwtech@UMBC, the University of Maryland Baltimore County research and technology park. The company, the first tenant in the parks newest building at 5520 Research Park Drive, expects to add new workers by 2009.
TIC Gums
Manufacturer of gum food additives has leased Philadelphia Road in White Marsh, and purchased 7 adjacent acres for future expansion. The company will employ 140 in the 56,000 square foot facility. Development has begun for a new Hampton Inn located at 10600 Red Run Boulevard in Owings Mills. The five story $4.5 million hotel will be built on 8.4 acres and will employ 40.
Pevco Systems, Inc.
Approved a $250,000 loan for the construction of a new 41,000 square foot $5.5 million manufacturing facility at Baltimore Crossroads @ 95 along Maryland Route 43. Pevco, a manufacturer of hospital pneumatic tube systems, currently has 61 employees. Fourteen new jobs are projected to be created as a result of the expansion.

Approved a Commercial Revitalization Tax Credit for Russel Toyota located at 6324 Baltimore National Pike.
Ridge Printing
Printing firm has moved to an expanded facility at 8900 Yellow Brick Road in Rosedale. The company now occupies 26,000 square feet and purchased new Heidelburg press.
Carmax
Company is building a dealer prep and auction center on 15 acres at Pulaski Highway and Stevens Road. Carmax expects to employ 60 to 120 within two years.
Windlass Run Business Park
FRP Development has completed construction on their first speculative 100,000 square foot flex/industrial warehouse at Windlass Run Business Park on Maryland Route 43. This is the first of five 100,000 square foot buildings FRP will build in the park.

Approved a $60,000 Baltimore County Building Investment Loan for interior and exterior improvements to the Stemmers Run Road property in the Essex Commerical Revitalization District. Project will include a new facade and the construction of an addition to the car repair business.
Pevco Systems
Baltimore County approved a $250,000 Business Growth loan to Pevco, a manufacturer of pneumatic tube distribution systems for the healthcare industry, toward purchase of a 41,500 square foot $5.5 million corporate headquarters facility at Baltimore Crossroads @95. The company employs 61 and anticipates adding new employees.
Severstal Steel Sparrows Point
Russian Steelmaker OAO Severstal has purchased the Sparrows Point steel facility from Arcelor Mittal for $810 million. Company will continue to employ 2,500 at the facility, and hopes to add new workers as it expands with the new investment and upgrades to run the plant at full capacity.

Sheppard Pratt
Sheppard Pratt has purchased the former Camp Glyndon property and plans to open a school for children with autism in August 2009. The Beth Tfiloh congregation also sold 44-acres off Central Avenue to Sheppard Pratt Health Systems for $17.3 million. Sheppard Pratt will move one of its Forbush Schools to the Glyndon campus. The Forbush Schools provide educational and therapeutic services for children and adolescents with autism and behavioral problems. The school will employ 125.
High Five, LLC
Approved a $60,000 Waterfront Improvement Loan for interior and exterior improvements to the property on Turkey Point Road which is leased by the Baltimore Boating Center. Improvements include new landscaping, piers, bulkhead improvements and the replacement of the HVAC system.
Estate Recoveries, Inc.
Credit collection services firm has leased 12,485 feet a 415 Williams Court in Baltimore Crossroads @95. The company will employ 70 in their new location.
Vend Lease
Vend Lease, a nationwide direct funding source to the hospitality, coin-operated and automotive service industries, has acquired 8,000 square feet for a new corporate headquarters on Sandpiper Circle in White Marsh. The company will move to a new 3-story 45,000 square foot office condo under construction by Sandpiper LLC.
ZeniMax Online Studios
Video game and new media company has leased 40,000 square feet at 200 International Circle for a new online division specializing in the Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) market. The company is recruiting and will employ approximately 20 at start up.
Peerce's Plantation/Signature Catering
Baltimore County approved a $16,000 term loan for exterior and interior improvements to the Dulaney Valley Road property. After an estimated $250,000 in renovations, Signature Catering will use the property as a catering facility.
United Partners LLC
Baltimore County approved a $60,000 Building Investment Loan to United Partners, LLC for renovations to 1017 Reisterstown Road in the Pikesville Commercial Revitalization District. The property will be used as an adult day care facility.
Phoenix Metals
Sheet Metal and HVAC duct manufacturer has purchased a 8,000 square foot facility in the new White Marsh Business Park on Days Cove Road. The company employs 35.
U.S. Census Bureau / CSC
Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has contracted with the U.S. Census Bureau and has leased 200,000 square feet in Marshfield Business Park in Rosedale to conduct state operations for the 2010 Census. The Census will hire over 1,000 full and part time employees to gather and input data for the project.

Baltimore County has approved a $60,000 Building Investment Loan to 3 Scoops, LLC, the owner and operator of the Friendly’s Restaurant on Merritt Boulevard in Dundalk.

Maryland Port Administration
The Port Administration has purchased the former Mestek site located at 10 Maryland Avenue in Dundalk to consolidate with existing port property. The 5.5 acre parcel was purchased for $3,200,000.
Capital Funding Group
Full service provider of comprehensive financing solutions for healthcare facilities nationwide has leased 20,000 square feet in the new CFG office tower on Clarkview Road in Ruxton.
