RMF Engineering Moving To bwtech@UMBC

Towson, MD (August 5, 2008)  RMF Engineering, a mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, infrastructure and agricultural engineering firm, has signed a lease to move its headquarters to bwtech@UMBC, the University of Maryland Baltimore County research and technology park. The company will be the first tenant in the park's newest building at 5520 Research Park Drive.

RMF, which maintains offices around the country, is nationally recognized for the analysis, planning and design of complex buildings and campus utility generation and distribution systems, and evaluation of alternative energy solutions. They currently employ about 100 people at their Baltimore headquarters, and plan to expand to 130 by the end of 2009, following relocation to bwtech@UMBC.

One of Baltimore County and the region's greatest strengths is the partnership between our world class universities and business," stated David S. Iannucci, Executive Director for the Baltimore County Department of Economic Development. "Companies at bwtech@UMBC recognize the business value of locating next to the university campus and building collaborations with faculty, researchers and students."

The 107,000 square foot building was developed by Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) (NYSE:OFC). This is the second building COPT developed at the park; the first is fully occupied by the U.S. Geological Survey.
