Towson, MD (August 1, 2008) Danfoss, a U.S. division of the Danfoss Group is relocating to Baltimore Crossroads@95, the new 1,000 acre business park in eastern Baltimore County, Maryland. The park is located off the new extension of Maryland Route 43 between White Marsh and the Baltimore County waterfront. Danfoss Inc. will transfer more than 230 employees to a new 46,200 square foot building to be built by St. John Properties. The building will feature a sustainable and green design that meets U.S. Green Building Council LEED Commercial Interior certification. Danfoss joins twelve other companies in Baltimore Crossroads@95, including headquarters for Pevco, BGE HOME and Alexander Mobility. "Baltimore County is particularly pleased that Danfoss and St. John Properties recognize the synergies between quality development and environmental responsibility," stated Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith. Once completed, Baltimore Crossroads@95 will feature nearly 5.5 million square feet of space, including 2.5 million square feet of R&D/Flex/Office space, 2.5 million square feet of Manufacturing/Industrial space and 500,000 square feet of retail.
