Helion Moves to New $3.5 Million Corporate Headquarters in Timonium
Towson, Md. (March 12, 2009)—Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith joined executives at Helion, Inc. to tour the information technology firm's new $3.5 million corporate headquarters in Timonium. The company has almost tripled its number of jobs over the past two years. The new 21,600 square foot building incorporates sustainable, green design elements and can accommodate future growth.
Helion received a $250,000 Baltimore County Business Growth loan to assist with purchase and redevelopment of the two-story headquarters on Greenspring Drive in Timonium.
"We're pleased to be able to contribute to the growth of this nimble, entrepreneurial technology firm with a significant loan. Baltimore County's business loan funds were established by the department of economic development to help companies makes this type of long term investment," said Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith.
Helion is an IT network services and consulting firm that specializes in managing technology for automotive dealerships and professional services companies in the Mid-Atlantic, Philadelphia, and Chicago areas.
