Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk Celebrates Expansion & Business Growth

Columbia, Md. (October 2, 2007) First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE:FR), the nation's largest provider of industrial real estate, has announced the completion of Crossroads Commerce Center, a new 300,000 square foot Class "A" warehouse/distribution building. The project is contained in the Baltimore Crossroads@95 business community, which is situated off MD Route 43 in the White Marsh section of Baltimore County.

Located at 1225 New Bengies Road, the building features 32 foot ceilings, 48 x 52 foot bay sizes, 30 dock doors and two drive-in doors. The project is 300 feet x 1000 feet and the interior space can be divisible to 75,000 square feet of space. It is located approximately two miles from Interstate 95, four miles from the Port of Baltimore and approximately twenty miles from BWI Airport.

Upon completion, Baltimore Crossroads@95 will feature more than five million square feet of commercial office and warehouse/industrial space, as well as 120,000 square feet of retail space and several full-service hotels. More than 10,000 employees are expected to work in the business community which is being built by a number of local and national real estate developers, including First Industrial Realty Trust.

"Crossroads Commerce Center is strategically positioned to capture companies looking for warehouse, distribution or manufacturing operations that need immediate access to major transportation vehicles including Interstate 95, the Port of Baltimore and several international airports," stated Mark McConnell, Managing Director of First Industrial Realty Trust. "We are marketing the building to firms that require between 75,000 and 300,000 square feet of space, and have generated strong initial interest from firms that are attracted to its relative close position to Aberdeen Proving Ground, as it relates to upcoming BRAC (Base Realignment And Closure) requirements," he added.

"Crossroads Commerce Center is considered a Class "A" warehouse/industrial building, because we have integrated a number of state-of-the art features into the project including gas-fired heating, a wet E.S.F.R. sprinkler system, reinforced concrete walls and electrical service designed to accommodate industrial requirements,"McConnell added.

With this latest project, First Industrial Realty Trust now owns 45 buildings, totaling more than 3.6 million square feet of industrial and warehouse space in the greater Baltimore/Washington, D.C. marketplace.
