Woodlawn, Md. (June 30, 2005) – Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith joined Linda Gooden, President, Lockheed Martin Information Technology, as the company announced the addition of 100 new technical jobs and expansion into a new facility at 7152 Windsor Boulevard in Woodlawn. This past spring, the company also hired more than 100 new graduates from local colleges and universities to meet contract requirements in the Baltimore area.  The company's expansion supports major contracts with the Social Security Administration and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (both headquartered in Baltimore County), and other U.S. Health and Human Services agencies.

“Lockheed Martin Information Technology's expansion demonstrates the company's ability to maximize their partnerships with key federal agencies, Smith said.  "We are particularly pleased that Lockheed is adding new jobs, and recruiting the skilled technology workers they need from Baltimore's colleges and universities."
