Water Work on North Point Boulevard Amost Complete

County Engineers began replacing and upgrading 5,000 feet of 80-year-old water main in North Point Boulevard at the end of June. An old 12-inch line is being replaced with a new 20-inch water main, which, say engineers, will improve fire protection in the Edgemere Peninsula. The project will cost $1.5 million and is now 90 percent complete.
