Electronic applications for rezoning may be filed by individuals or community associations from 9/4 - 10/15, after first becoming a registered CZMP user. An appointment with the community planner will be necessary to complete the filing. Engineers from Public Works began cleaning and relining water lines in North Dundalk near the Community College in June 2006 and expect to finish the project this fall - four months ahead of schedule. The $3.6 million project will impact an area from Merritt Blvd. to German Hill Road and down to Sollers Point Road.

Contractors began rehabilitating the Lynch Point Sewerage Pumping Station in December 2006, which will cost $1.1 million, is now almost complete. The County has also begun building a new sewage pumping station on North Point Blvd to replace the antiquated Edgepoint Sewer Pumping Station. Work started last September and will be finished by December. When the new station is completed, the old one will be demolished.

Delvale Road is scheduled to receive 1300 feet of new 12-inch water main this year. The new line is expected to cost $200,000. Construction should begin this month and be finished by the end of November.

Baltimore County plans to begin work on the Old Eastern Avenue Streetscape running from Back River Neck Road to Louella Avenue this summer. Costing about $1 million and stretching for more than half a mile, the project will include new curbs and gutters, sidewalks and plantings.

Baltimore County is installing more than two miles of new water mains on Kelso, costing $4 million. The line will be constructed through Rossville, Kelso, Martin Blvd. and Transverse Avenue beginning in September and should be finished by the end of autumn, 2008.
