New Water Main for Walnut Avenue and Lincoln Avenue

Baltimore County is replacing 850 feet of old water line in Walnut Avenue, between Sollers Point Road and Avondale Road, which has had a long history of repairs. The project, costing $200,000, should be finished by March, according to Public Works engineers. In addition, 4,000 feet of water line – more than eighty years old – is being replaced on Lincoln Avenue, between Lodge Farm and Bayfront. The cost to replace the eight-inch line, expected to be completed in July, is $800,000.
