Work on the station, which began in December 2008, is expected to take about a year and be completed by January of 2010. Information: enginrng@baltimorecountymd.gov Traffic Calming for Neighbors Avenue in RosedaleNeighbors Avenue between Old Philadelphia Road and Philadelphia Road qualified for traffic calming measures in March and the installation of one speed hump has been set for this fall. Information: 410-887-3554 Back to top Water Work on North Point Boulevard 60 Percent CompleteCounty Engineers began replacing and upgrading 5,000 feet of 80-year-old water main in North Point Boulevard at the end of June. An old 12-inch line is being replaced with a new 20-inch water main, which, say engineers, will improve fire protection in the Edgemere Peninsula. The project will cost $1.5 million and is now 60 percent complete. Construction of speed humps is scheduled for the fall. Information: 410-887-3554 Oriole Avenue Sanitary Sewer ProjectOriole Avenue and Diamond Point Road are being improved with public sewers this fall. Baltimore County's contractors began installing 3,000 feet of low-pressure sewer line and 15 grinder pumps in September in order to take residents off of septic systems which had become hygienically obsolete. The project, which will cost $342,000, is expected to be finished by January. Notice of Public Hearing - Regulation of Police Initiated Towing Date/Time: 11/12/2009 2:00 p.m. - 11/12/2009 3:00 p.m. The Director of the Department of Permits and Development Management will hold a public hearing in Towson, Maryland on proposed regulations that apply to persons applying for and maintaining a Baltimore County Police-Initiated Towing License.
