The Department of Environmental Protection and Resource Management (DEPRM) will move on Friday, June 26. Normal service to walk-in customers on this day will be limited, but some assistance will be provided in the County Office Building, 111 W. Chesapeake Avenue, room 100. Information: 410-887-2904 Back to top Bear Creek Tributary Dredging - The dredging of Chink Creek, Tabasco Cove, Schoolhouse Cove and Lynch Cove will begin in late July. Shallow Creek Maintenance Dredging - The dredging will begin in October.
Baltimore County DEPRM and the Back River Restoration Committee invite citizens to join in a Back River stakeholder meeting. The meeting will take place at the Back River Treatment Plant auditorium on July 8 at 6:30 p.m. Discussions will focus on the current development of an Action Plan for the Tidal Back River watershed. Participants will learn about how a watershed works and from where all the trash comes. An update on DEPRM projects in the watershed is included along with progress on current neighborhood assessments.
