Directions to the center are at:
http://www.dpscs.maryland.gov/aboutdpscs/pct/directions.shtml. Participants will be able to apply for grants up to $5,000 to implement local, community-based crime prevention efforts.

The summit will provide participants with information on successful anti-crime initiatives that have worked in the past in Maryland's neighborhoods. They will learn the best practices for implementing such programs tailored to their own communities and be given information on applying for grants to fund their efforts. Local activities can address the following issues: community crime prevention, youth programs, and physical improvements.

To be eligible, a group must be a 501c3 or a police department applying on behalf of a 501c3. All applications will require a written letter from a police department confirming the community partnership.
