The Baltimore County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Procedures on Thursday, September 3 at 5 p.m. in the Jefferson Building, Room 104, 105 W. Chesapeake Avenue in Towson. The focus of the hearing is to establish a reasonable and consistent process for the Planning Board to hear, consider, and act upon Planned Unit Developments, authorized by Section 32-4-245 (c)(1), of the Baltimore County Code, 2003. Written comments may be sent to Arnold F. 'Pat' Keller, III, Secretary to the Board, Office of Planning, 105 W. Chesapeake Ave., Suite 101, Towson, MD 21204. New Water Line for Belair Road may Cause Traffic Delays
A major water line is under construction in Belair Road to improve water capacity and pressure in the area and to insure adequate fire protection. Work began in October and may cause some traffic congestion.

Sewers for Golupski and Phillips Roads
Baltimore County is installing a sewage collection system for Golupski and Phillips road residents. The system, designed to serve 28 residences on the Back River Neck Peninsula, consists of 2000 feet of sanitary sewer line and grinder pumps. Engineers estimate that the project, needed for the area's public health, should be completed by the fall.

Dale Avenue Qualifies for Traffic Calming
Residents of Dale Avenue in Overlea requested something be done about traffic on their street which recently qualified for traffic calming measures. The County's traffic engineers completed a proposal and submitted it to the community in July for review. They now await the community's approval of the plan.

Overlea: Water Work on Westwood Avenue
Utility crews will begin replacing an old cast iron water line in September running through Westwood Avenue (just north of Hazelwood Avenue, ADC Map 4700 F5) this month. The old six-inch diameter line had been troubled with frequent breaks and will be replaced with a twelve-inch pipe. The project is expected to cost $300,000 and be completed in September.
