Sewers for Golupski and Phillips Roads
Baltimore County is installing a sewage collection system for Golupski and Phillips road residents. The system, designed to serve 28 residences on the Back River Neck Peninsula, consists of 2000 feet of sanitary sewer line and grinder pumps. Engineers estimate that the project, needed for the area's public health, should be completed by the fall.
Information: enginrng@baltimorecountymd.govA short "spur" on Trumps Mill Road (ADC Map 4700 H4), which connects Kenwood Avenue to Lillian Holt Drive, has been used by drivers to avoid the traffic signal on Lillian Holt. The popular shortcut was responsible for several accidents and the spur was closed to traffic last year. The Department of Public Works has decided to make the closure permanent in May and the existing pavement will be removed and the space returned to grass, say traffic engineers.
