Trash the Litter, Not Your River! – Meeting to Develop a Countywide Trash-Reduction Strategy

By means of wind, runoff and dumping, the litter in your community eventually ends up in the nearest waterway. Your local rivers, streams and lakes are now polluted with thousands of pounds of trash.

We want to hear from you what you perceive as the biggest sources of litter and what programs are (or could be) the most effective in tackling this pervasive and unwieldy problem. Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability is hosting community meetings around the county to help in the development of a county-wide Trash Reduction Strategy.
