Belair Road – TAP Panel Report
On November 16, 2011, Baltimore City and County along with the Urban Land Institute of Baltimore released “Revitalizing the Belair Road Corridor: A ULI Advisory Services Technical Assistance Panel Report.” With the support of Baltimore Mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Baltimore County Executive, Kevin Kamenetz, the report focuses on developing a variety of strategies that aim to revitalize the Belair Road Corridor, which serves as a gateway that links both the City and County. The report includes such recommendations as façade improvements, streetscape enhancements, branding and marketing key nodes along the corridor, as well as ideas for strengthening the communities that live along the corridor

Water Project on Kenilworth Drive in the Works
Baltimore County is repairing 7,500 feet of deteriorating water line on Kenilworth Drive. The 48-inch line is being slip-lined with new steel. The water main, say engineers, is a major conduit, supplying commercial and residential properties north of the Beltway between Falls and Dulaney Valley roads. Work began in May and is expected to be completed in February 2012 – somewhat later than originally anticipated because of problems obtaining construction material. It’s now 47 percent complete.
