Water Project on Belair Road to Finish in May

County contractors began work on a major water project on Belair Road in October 2008. Crews are putting down almost 9,000 feet of 24-inch water line between White Marsh Boulevard and Ebenezer Road. The new line will increase capacity, improve water pressure and help insure adequate fire protection for the area.  Construction is drawing to a close and engineers say that the project, costing $5.5 million, is now 95 percent complete with only cleaning and lining left to do. It should be completed in May.
