Water Project on Kenilworth Drive
Baltimore County is repairing 7,500 feet of deteriorating water line on Kenilworth Drive. The 48-inch line is being slip-lined with new steel. The water main, say engineers, is a major conduit, supplying commercial and residential properties north of the Beltway between Falls and Dulaney Valley roads. Work on the $5 million project began in May, last year, and is optimistically expected to be completed by April 1. It’s now 60 percent complete, according to County engineers.

Bridge Improvements in Towson
Crews will be closing part of the sidewalk near the old Hutzlers building, and Bahama Breeze, in Towson in February or March to improve the pedestrian ramp. The work, which will require three to four days and cost about $20,000, should make the area more handicapped compliant, say engineers.
