Under Construction: Dolfield Boulevard Bridge

Construction of the Dolfield Boulevard Bridge over Red Run officially began in early October. The $8 million structure, which will be 420 feet long, is part of a major long-range plan to provide traffic capacity for the expanding Owings Mills community. Engineers expect that construction, which will help link Lakeside Blvd. and Reisterstown Road, will require at least two years. Work is currently on schedule.

South Green Sewer Rehab in Randallstown

Public Works began relining 7,000 feet of sewer line and restoring 40 manholes in Randallstown in August. The project, which will cost $328,000, is part of the County's $800 million effort (mandated by the Federal Government) to improve the entire sewer system over a 14-year period. The rehabilitation project should be finished in October, say County engineers.
