Planning Board Meetings

The Baltimore County Planning Board meeting will be held Thursday, May 16, at 4 p.m. in Room 104 of the Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson.

Jericho Covered Bridge

The historic Jericho Covered Bridge, spanning Little Gunpowder Falls east of Kingsville, is scheduled for a major renovation in 2013 - late summer or early fall. A detour will be posted. Work on the $2 million project will require about a year.

New Water Pipe for York Road

Baltimore County’s contractors are replacing 9,500 feet of old water line in York Road, between Ridgely and Padonia Roads. The new 24-inch line, double the diameter of the old line, is expected to cost $5 million and take one to three years to install. The project, according to County engineers, is designed “to build redundancy into the system." The County’s contractor, Burgermeister Bell, started the project in April 2010 and should be finished by August.
